Gil is born and raised between Bajos del Arenal and San Agustin bay in the municipality of Santa Maria Huatulco. He grown up near the ocean, which has become his favorite playground, there is no cave, reef, beach that he hasn't explored or wave that he hasn't surfed on the coast of Oaxaca. His fascination for the sea, the surf and his surrounding environment never stopped, at the contrary he opened his business to continue sharing the beauty of his home and his expertise with the world.
Is a company formed by Gil & his guides, all of them are from this area and have a lot of experience and knowledge about the southern Oaxacan coastline, the surf breaks, and the communities in general.
Along the years thanks to guiding many surfers from all around the world, Gil made good friends in this industry. During a surf trip you spend time driving around searching the best waves, sharing barrels, laughs, experiences, stories so you get to know each other, all that time together usually turns to become a friendship.

He also hosted the Spanish Crew -Benjamin Sanchis, Jonathan Gonzalez, Gony Zubizarreta for the surf movie “Un mezcal en cada mano “, and the Metal Neck with Andrew Doheny, Alex Knots and Ford Archibold.
